Stonehaven Bio is committed to accurate fulfillment, careful handling, and transparent policies. Due to the specialized and sensitive nature of research products, the terms below are designed to preserve product integrity while ensuring fair resolution of legitimate shipping or fulfillment issues.
Shipping Policy
Order Processing
- Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding statutory holidays.
- Orders placed and paid before 5:00 PM Eastern Time are typically shipped the same business day.
- Orders placed after 5:00 PM ET, or on weekends or holidays, will ship the next business day.
- During periods of high order volume, processing may take up to 48 business hours.
Shipping Methods & Delivery Estimates
- All orders ship from within Canada.
- We use reputable carriers such as Canada Post, UPS, or equivalent services, depending on destination and service availability.
- Typical delivery estimates:
- Western Canada, Ontario & Quebec: 2-4 business days
- Atlantic Canada: 4-6 business days
- Remote locations: Additional time may be required
Delivery estimates are provided for convenience only and are not guaranteed, as transit times are subject to carrier conditions, weather, and regional service factors.
Shipping Charges
- Shipping fees are calculated at checkout unless a promotional offer applies.
- Any free-shipping promotions will be clearly disclosed at the time of purchase.
Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information.
- Orders returned due to incorrect or incomplete addresses may incur reshipping fees.
- Stonehaven Bio is not responsible for delays, losses, or mis-deliveries resulting from address errors supplied by the customer.
Lost or Delayed Shipments
If a shipment appears delayed or missing:
- Please contact us promptly so we can initiate a carrier investigation.
- If the carrier confirms a package was lost in transit prior to delivery, we will work with you to provide an appropriate resolution.
- If a shipment is marked as delivered by the carrier, resolution is subject to the outcome of the carrier’s investigation.
Returns & Refunds Policy
Research Products – Final Sale
Due to the sensitive, perishable, and non-resalable nature of research chemicals and peptides:
- All products are sold as final sale
- Returns and exchanges are not accepted
- Products cannot be restocked or redistributed once they have left our facility
This policy exists to protect product quality, safety, and research integrity.
Damaged, Incorrect, or Missing Items
If your order arrives with transit damage, incorrect item(s), or missing item(s):
You must notify us within 7 days of delivery by contacting: support@stonehavenbio.com
Please include:
- Order number
- Description of the issue
- Clear photographs (where applicable)
After review, Stonehaven Bio will determine the appropriate resolution, which may include replacement, correction, or other remedy at our discretion.
Order Cancellations
- Orders may be cancelled before shipment by contacting us as soon as possible.
- Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled.
Important Policy Notes
- Refunds are not issued for changes in research needs or purchasing decisions.
- Claims submitted outside the stated reporting window may not be eligible for resolution.
- Stonehaven Bio reserves the right to limit or refuse service in cases of suspected misuse or policy abuse.
